So I did the Biggest Loser Wii game for two weeks, and when I didn't lose any weight my second week (after losing 5 pounds in the first), I went went back to old habits and stopped exercising or eating healthier. Ugh. But as someone determined not to give up til I have the body I want, I'm starting over again. While waiting two weeks on wall brackets to arrive so I can install my iron gym pull-up bar and begin P90X again doing it all the way this time (doing real pull-ups/chin-ups instead a halfway simulation with resistance bands), I'm doing TurboJam Cardio Party for a little weight loss prep. I'm gonna push myself to do it 6 days a week in preparation for doing P90x 6 days a week. This time I'm staying on track by noting everything I eat in a day:
8 Glasses of Water
Breakfast:
Oatmeal
Egg Whites
2 slices of Bacon
Lunch:
Whole Wheat Spaghetti with grilled Chicken
Dinner:
Whole Wheat Spaghetti with grilled Chicken Glass of Cherry Limeade/Lemonade
Snacks:
3 cups of Cheddar Gold Fishes

Week 1: The Biggest Loser Wii Workout Plan
So I began using "The Biggest Loser" game for the Wii this week. The workout I did all this week was the full body workout on the "Intense" setting. It definitely lived up to its name. I sweated and struggled through each workout. But in the end it all paid off. I lost 5 pounds this week, dropping my weight from 175 to 173! I am excited to see my progress throughout the process and how next week goes :).

Getting back into weight loss
So I fell off the wagon again..... :( *tear*. After losing about 7 pounds and going down to 171, I gained that all back. I just wasn't as motivated to finish P90x as I thought I would be. I've decided I don't want to be this big muscular body building looking guy and instead to go for a leaner look. So now my aim is about 145 pounds, the weight I was when I first lost weight in high school. I bought the Biggest Loser Wii game and completed my first workout today. I put it on the "Intense" setting and it was definitely intense. I was sweating as much as I did with P90x and all the other exercise programs I've done and I def. got a workout. I'm also watching what I eat now, after realizing that I have an eating disorder of overeating. I think that writing down my feelings and struggles with food and weight will help me achieve better long-term results than in the past.

Now on Week 5.......
I haven't blogged for a while, but I certainly have been exercising. I am so amazed at the change in my body in such a short time! Below are a side by side comparison my current pics.

Day 11
Yoga Yoga Yoga.......how indifferent I am to you. Instead of doing Yoga X from the P90X program, I did a Yoga program I found on YouTube. I thought it would make me like Yoga more. It didn't. I would do Plyometrics everyday rather than do Yoga. I wonder if there is any other way to obtain flexibility? Anyway, I'll just do it anyway. Luckily, its behind me for this week and I have Legs & Back to look forward to tomorrow. Bring it on!

Day 10
Got up at 6:20am to do Shoulders & Arms. 25 pounds never sounds like a lot, but when you're doing a lot of reps in several sets, you can definitely feel the burn. I ate healthy foods (despite having lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and dinner at IHOP). Tomorrow, I plan to sub this Yoga routine I found on YouTube for Yoga X. Hopefully, it improves my flexibility and helps me achieve higher levels of athleticism.

Day 9
Plyometrics nearly kicked my butt again this week! Instead of getting up early this morning, I opted to work out when I got home after work. By the end of the hour, I was covered in sweat from head to toe! I was proud to once again make it all the way through without taking any breaks. Although my legs were on fire (and my lungs too ), I was determined to make it. I'm actually excited to exercise now and see my body change. I just have to keep up this routine and eating healthier. Tomorrow is Shoulders and Arms again :).
